UNIK has released a new series of grass paver moulds designed for one job: producing concrete grids that hold grass or gravel while supporting vehicle traffic. Think parking lots that don‘t become heat islands, fire lanes that stay green, or driveways that let rain soak through instead of running off into storm drains.

The move comes as more landscape architects and city planners around the world are specifying hexagonal pavers for public squares, walkways, and permeable paving projects.

Quanzhou, China – Fujian Unik Mould Technology Co., Ltd., founded in 2008 with over 15 years of export experience, today announced that its optimized hollow block moulding structure is delivering measurable improvements in efficiency and quality for customers across 28 countries. The optimized structure features precision-machined cavities with ±0.3mm tolerance, optimized clearance of 0.2-0.4mm between presser foot and cavity, and carburizing heat treatment achieving HRC59-62 surface hardness. Whole board flatness is maintained at ≤0.5mm. UNIK‘s facility in Quanzhou operates 27 wire-cutting machines, 4 large gantry machining centers, and advanced heat treatment equipment, with monthly mould output reaching 50 sets.

With the surge in demand for large diameter, high strength drainage networks driven by national “urban renewal” and “sponge city” initiatives, concrete pipe manufacturing technology is undergoing a new wave of transformation. UNIK Machinery, leveraging its deep expertise in concrete forming, has officially launched its upgraded full series of suspension roller pipe machines and vertical radial extrusion pipe machines to the global market, addressing the urgent need for reinforced concrete pipes in municipal drainage, highway culverts, and agricultural water conservancy projects.
