With the surge in demand for large diameter, high strength drainage networks driven by national “urban renewal” and “sponge city” initiatives, concrete pipe manufacturing technology is undergoing a new wave of transformation. UNIK Machinery, leveraging its deep expertise in concrete forming, has officially launched its upgraded full series of suspension roller pipe machines and vertical radial extrusion pipe machines to the global market, addressing the urgent need for reinforced concrete pipes in municipal drainage, highway culverts, and agricultural water conservancy projects.
To meet different customers’ production capacity and quality requirements, UNIK offers two mainstream pipe forming solutions. The suspension roller concrete pipe machine is suitable for producing pipes with diameters from 300mm to 2000mm and lengths up to 3 meters, with main motor power ranging from 15kW to 110kW. It is widely used in various deep well and culvert applications. By applying centrifugal and extrusion forces to the concrete inside the mold via a rotating roller shaft, the machine produces pipes with a dense structure and excellent strength.
For customers seeking maximum production efficiency, UNIK’s vertical radial extrusion pipe machine adopts a vertical forming method. Through precise matching between the extrusion head and the inner diameter of the pipe mold, the machine compacts the concrete powerfully during the rotating lifting process. Taking a DN600mm reinforced concrete drainage pipe with a length of 3 meters as an example, the entire forming cycle for a single pipe takes only 3 minutes, and the pipe quality fully complies with the national standard GB11836 2023. This truly achieves the perfect balance of high efficiency and superior quality.
To ensure absolute reliability under harsh operating conditions, the entire UNIK pipe machine series is equipped with Siemens high efficiency motors combined with variable frequency control technology. This not only guarantees precise output of speed and torque during spindle rotation but also achieves significant energy savings, increasing production rhythm while substantially reducing long term electricity costs.
UNIK provides not only stand alone machines but also complete solutions including automatic material feeding, concrete mixing, and pipe steam curing. Furthermore, we can flexibly customize various pipe joint types—such as plain ends, tongue and groove, and spigot and socket joints—according to local construction standards, ensuring that the products perfectly interface with diverse municipal pipe network projects.
As national requirements for environmental protection and construction standardization continue to rise, UNIK’s suspension roller and radial extrusion technologies are becoming the standard for a new generation of pipe manufacturing plants. We welcome customers from around the world to visit our modern production base in Quanzhou to witness the efficient, intelligent manufacturing of concrete pipes in action.
